So about that last scarf. Remember how he loved his beanie? His sock-yarn, reversible beanie? Now the man wants a scarf. A SCARF. In gray. GRAY. To break the monotony and impending blindness (well at least it's not black), I've decided to make this my first cabling project. And I better hop to it, it's already January and I should disclose the fact that I'm in San Diego, which means that there aren't many more scarf days left (we get about oh, 10 a year).
There goes my yarn fast. How is it that I'm acquiring more yarn than normal after I declared a yarn fast? I suppose it's a characteristic of all diets.
On the upside, he wants to go to the LYS with me to pick out the yarn! I thought maybe it was because he wanted to make sure I got a manly gray or non-scratchy yarn. But he said he wanted to go because "those places are kinda interesting."
Be still my heart, he sure knows how to woo me.
Anyway, I'm off to Tahoe and I'm plenty prepared. Woohoo!
