Yay I got my Quecha from Elann.

Parchment and... Lilac?

Kris, Marissa and I decided to make our own needle holders.  I went over to Kris' today and with some fabric she generously donated to our cause, came out with a travel size pack:

I'm very pleased with the results  :)
Of course, being the insane girls that we are, we're going to make two others: One for storing ALL of our needles and one for storing just circulars.  I've pinned up the mother case so hopefully by next week all my supplies will be safely tucked away and no longer in a gallon size Ziploc bag (no kidding).

I'm also about halfway through my handwarmers:

I'm using it to make these fingerless mitts.

Finished the ruffle scarf a couple of days ago.  I also made a little crochet flower embellishment.  I was a little torn on the placement of the flower when Marissa had a brilliant stroke of genius and suggested I use a safety pin and can thus place it at my whim.

Yay! I got my Peruvian Highland wool in Ink (for Ribby Cardi 2).  I've placed it next to the oxblood so you can see what the color combo looks like. Two words come to mind: Collegiate and Autumney (if that's a word).

I also ordered some lovely stuff over at Handpaintedyarn.com.  Can't wait until that comes in!

On the good side, I found my lost 1.5 (US) needle. I thought I lost it at Coffee Bean but today I found it neatly sitting on the coffee table. Roommate must have found it.

First the ruffle scarf from Scarf Style

I'm planning to make little crochet flower embellishments for it later.

Then there's my first sock using a free pattern from elann.

And of course the sleeves for the ribby cardi.

I know, I know, I should be doing it in the baby blue to finish the FIRST ribby cardi I already have the body for, but I can't help it! So thus, the beginning of the sleeves of my SECOND ribby cardi (before finishing the first).  I guess I just like making things difficult for myself.
