Craig's gone to Copenhagen for a business trip. The last time he went he accused me of turning feral. I confess that while he was away my dinner consisted of a Mystery Meal out of an unmarked packet. It turned out to be some sort of couscous (still not sure of the flavor) and I ended up eating only half of it and polished off some Japanese crackers instead (Thanks, Kathy!).
I really enjoy cooking and I think I've made some magnificent meals these past couple of weeks. Yup, magnificent. But when it's just for me, I can't face grappling with a wack electric stove and doing anything more than boil water. I like cooking at Craig's, he has a big kitchen, most of my cooking tools, and a nice gas stove. But dude, did I tell you about the wack electric stove at my house that has only two settings: Lukewarm and Burning? It's really hard to choose between food poisoning and cancer by carbon intake. I'm not sure what I'm going to do tonight since the crackers are long gone. I've been meaning to go to this Asian market that's by my house, but then I'll probably need to cook whatever I buy... as long as it doesn't need anything more than salt.
Ok I just found out the Asian market is closed on Mondays. It looks like it's going to be takeout tonight. Or maybe, if I'm lucky I'll find some Can of Something in my shelves. Takeout is possible, but it really lacks suspense don't you think?
