Does anyone remember the story of The Princess and the Pea? If I recall correctly, it had to do with searching for a "true" princess. The test was placing a pea under a stack of mattresses and the real princess would be so sensitive she would be uncomfortable sleeping in it and complain about it in the morning. Thus the prince can find his true princess.
She seems like she would be one high maintenance chick.
"Honey... Is there a butterfly in the house? I feel a draft."
"What is that stink?! Did you leave the toothpaste cap off again?"
"Ugh, does that spider need to be spinning its web so loudly?"
What's so great about princesses? If you ask me, the prince would have been better off with the milk maid. I bet she'd have been grateful for even one mattress.

January 2nd I broke my new years resolution to not sit in front of the TV for more than 2 hours. I actually broke the resolution with gusto by watching 6 hours of Home Improvement, Everybody Loves Raymond, and Friends (all reruns I've seen before!). But I did make some excellent progress on a sock I'm knitting.
