Finally finished Angels & Demons this past weekend. I read it for comparison's sake because after reading Da Vinci Code I heard a lot of opinions of readers firmly liking one book more than the other. I'm wishy washy and I can't say I can pick a favorite. They are both very fast reads, full of twisty turns in the plot, and both have enough consipiracy theories to make your eyes cross. I recommend it for fun, quick reading.
I will say that Angels & Demons is less believable and firmly establishes Brown's works as pure fantasy so maybe all these people getting their panties in a wad about Da Vinci Code should read this one too so they realize what "fiction" is and stop griping about whatever blasphemic ideas they insist DVC is pushing.
Ahem.
Next up is Reasonable Doubt, generously on loan from Kris. I'm still in that book slump so after hearing about my interest in delving into mystery and being familiar with my partiality to Law and Order: SVU, she loaned me two of Friedman's books.
