Tomorrow I make my semi-bi-annual trip to the Great North. No, not Cananda.
The last time I was in SF was over the Christmas holiday and I figure this is a good a time to go again before my parents forget what I look like. My friend Suse is going to be in a play, which I'm taking Angelina to (she moved to the Bay about a month ago), Tedmond and Angela are both in town for the summer, and hopefully I'll be able to kick it with some Cabo girls since they're from the East Bay. It's a lot of visiting for 3 days, but I feel up to the challenge.
I'm driving up because I'm totally over asking my mom to borrow hers. OK FINE, I'm driving up so I can bring back a scandalous amount of kimchee. And maybe some mondu. And bulgogi. And all those other wonderful banchans that will get me through those nights where all I have to eat is rice. Oh and some weird snacks from the Korean supermarket, like that chocolate filled cracker that's shaped like a koala.
I'm driving up on my own, so please forgive me in advance if I call you and leave an incoherent voicemail because I'm trying to stay awake on the road.
Blogging for the rest of the week will be minimal because I'll be reduced to a measly dial up modem. YUK.
