I just finished and I eagerly await for others to finish as well because there is SO MUCH TO TALK ABOUT!! EEEEEEEEEEK!!
And now about my really long weekend.
Lovely lovely weekend. Familiar sights and friends greeted me and made me feel welcome. The only downside was that I pretty much froze to death the entire weekend having forgotten to bring anything warmer than a long sleeved shirt. Note to self: When going to San Francisco always subtract 10 degrees from what you predict it will be. I got so cold I had to resort to wearing this hella (yeah, HELLA) old sweatshirt my aunt had given me. The reason I didn't take it to SD is because 1) it has a huge 24 Hour Fitness logo on it and 2) it has my name incorrectly embroidered in the corner ("MIYUN"). But fuck if that didn't save my ass from freezing. In my own room. Under my blankets.
Thursday was of course, Susan's play. It was the first time I've actually seen her perform and I thought she did extremely well, definately the most distinct character and I was lucky enough to have seen her on what she believes to have been her best night. Angelina can attest to its goodness.
Afterwards we stopped by this bar called Fizee's on Clement and 2nd. A couple of things to note about Fizee's:
1) All the bartenders were pretty hot asian girls.
2) The owner of the bar goes to my mom's church.
I will let readers form their own comments and conclusions with such information presented.
Anyway, it's a pretty chill place and not a bad hangout, which is why I went there two nights in a row with my Susie Q. Gosh, I miss that girl. Even though we didn't have much to gossip about (both of us being happily drama-free at the moment) I still find her to be one of those people I just love "catching up" with when I see her twice or so a year. And no, I'm not kissing her ass just because I've made her promise to make me her date if she ever goes to the Oscars.

Truly, one of the most insipriational and HI-LARIOUS people I know.
On Friday I took my parents to a Burmese restaurant for my mom's birthday and a belated Father's day. I think I'm always going to get them food as presents from now on. Can I tell you how my mom packed the Coach purse I gave her for Christmas back into my suitcase?? She said it was too fancy for her and too small to fit her church books. FLIPPIN AYE. If I knew she was going to give my present back to me, I would have bought her something else. Anyway, the Burmese food is good and now I got a new purse.
Saturday I went out with my high school friend Tedmond. He's another one I love chatting it up with. We gossiped and chilled in the Marina while waiting for our friends to call and then headed over to Ruby Skye where Deep Dish was playing. I kind of like house music, but this thing turned out to be a freakin RAVE! Hahahahahaha! I do have two funny stories to share:
1) We spent most of our time in the smoking lounge where they played hip hop and where we met this random dood who said he did contracting work for the venue. Anyway, turns out he does little magic tricks, which turned out to be quite entertaining (floating a crumpled dollar bill in the air, disappearing my still lit cigarette (I wasn't done with it, you ass!), etc). He asks me if I'm with Ted and I said no, we're just good friends and he offers both of us free drinks because he "knows" the owners and thus has such privileges. Ted and I are not ones to turn down free drinks so we said sure. Dood returns 10 minutes later with only his drink and effusely apologizes saying something about the bartender being SUPER busy. DUDE, don't show off about free drinks if you can't get them and secondly, don't return with YOUR OWN drink in hand. If I was him I would have handed over the 12 bucks and bought drinks myself, just to save face. Am I being to harsh??
2) PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: Just because you are in a big dance hall with "um-suh um-suh" music going and surrounded by drunkards, it is not ok to FART AND RUN. Dammit, we had to move like 5 times because some idiot laid a stinkbomb. I don't know if it was 5 different people or a repeat offender, but people, either go outside or resist the second helping of whatever the fuck you ate that night. It's not cool.
Ted has pics of us but apparently he's too busy saving lives and shit to email me.
I got home around 3am which nixed my idea about leaving the city at 4am. But somehow I was back on the road by 10, home by 6 (flippin a-hole LA traffic!!) and reading HP by 7:30.
