My citizenship test is tomorrow morning and just like school, I'm cramming for it during lunch today. Hey, it's The American Way!
Here are some questions that I don't think a lot of citizens born in the United States would even know the answer to:
1) Who said "Give me Liberty or give me death!"?
2) What was the 49th state to be brought into the union?
3) Who wrote the Star Spangled Banner?
4) What year was the Constitution written?
5) How many amendments are there in the Constitution?
6) Name an amendment that guarantees or addresses voting rights.
7) How many representatives are in the House of Representatives?
Answers
1) Patrick Henry
2) Alaska (I guessed Hawaii, but they were 50)
3) Francis Scott Key
4) 1787
5) 27
6) 15, 19,24, or 26
7) 435
I was also thinking about changing my name but I decided to just make the two parts of my name become a single word. Now that I think about it, maybe I should have changed the spelling so that it's more phoenetic... but "Meon" just looks stupid doesn't it?
